 Pr. of Wales Is. Population: 141 Coffman Cove is located on the northeast coast of Prince of Wales Island, 52 miles north of Klawock by road and a 2-1⁄2–hour drive from the IFA ferry terminal at Hollis.
 Click map for detailed PDF version. Formerly one of Southeast Alaska’s largest independent logging camps, today Coffman Cove is a small hamlet with rental cabins and RV campground but no restaurant.
Coffman Cove has a post office, a liquor store, and the Riggin Shack, which carries fishing tackle, ice, sundries and bait. Accommodations available at rental cabins. Oceanview RV Park/Campground , on the beach, which also offers full-hookup RV sites and bunkhouse accommodations. There is a gas pump with limited hours. There is a public dock and a boat launch.
Attractions: - Hunting (deer and bear), good freshwater and saltwater fishing, boating and hiking. Charters for fishing and whale-watching are available.
- Canoe Lagoon Oyster Co. here is the state’s oldest and largest oyster producer; fresh oysters available locally.
